Sylvia Lavin sat down with Charles Rice on Saturday to have an indepth discussion about the interior and the inside. Ultimately, the talk rebounded back to Thomas Demand’s exhibition which was to open at the CTA building up near Martin Place.
I found the constant rebound back to Thomas Demand a bit overused as it was covered extensively in the previous talks with Demand himself, with every single possible angle covered, including his immaculate attention to detail which was once again referenced in the Charles Rice talk.
Charles Rice talked about the notion of the interior and the architecture that is a result of these considerations. While I found this interesting from a different standing point, not as a photographer, it felt as though it drifted a little bit from what PSM was about.
